The D Project are specialists in delivering a high quality dance experience within the national curriculum engaging and nurturing from early years to developing career progression routes.

We provide dance for EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Further Education. All sessions are bespoke to fit each individual schools needs and requirements. Our teachers are all professionally trained dance artists and are fully equipped with DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.

Children get to work with skilled professionals. They respond well to

the dancers and the teachers are up-skilled by taking part in sessions with

them.” -  Alistair Johnson, Federation of Mowden School

D PROJECT CURRICULUM

We deliver regular weekly curriculum sessions in schools, every school differs slightly in aim and we strive to make sure our delivery in each class is bespoke to meet the individual needs of the school.

Some schools have dance to enhance their curriculum topics and subjects. This is particular-ly beneficial for kinaesthetic learners and to ensure schools are providing a varied way to learn. With social, cultural, and health benefits, dance is becoming an increasingly popular way to learn. This is an effective approach for schools to use dance for its many benefits and increase young peoples’ learning in varied curriculum areas other than dance. Some schools use our specialist to deliver dance within PE sessions whilst up-skilling their staff.

Curriculum sessions can be booked for a half day/full day as…

- One off bespoke packages

- 6 week blocks (half a term)

- 12 week blocks (full term)

- Full school year blocks
